Water Reuse Technology
Reusing industrial wastewater is a multi-step process, utilizing the most effective water treatment protocols in a particular order. Our systems use the following treatment protocols:
- Physical & chemical treatment/Ion-exchange
- Solids removal (filtration, settling, etc.)
- Chemical pretreatment
- Membrane filtration
- Sterilization/microbiological control
Common reuse applications include wastestreams such as: e-coating and powder coating, HVAC, metal finishing (nickel, copper, etc.), oily, power generation, and so on. ProChem, Inc. water reuse systems are an end-of-pipe solution, meaning that they are designed to be integrated into your existing wastewater treatment system.
I-PRO Reuse Process
The IPRO reuse process consists of a customized chemical pre-treatment program designed to work in conjunction with the I-PRO membrane system. The I-PRO system treats high conductivity wastewaters up to 30,000 mg/L TDS providing a low conductivity permeate that can be reused in the manufacturing process, as cooling water or other industrial applications. The concentrate from the I-PRO system can be discharged to the sanitary sewer.
Our engineers and fabricators custom build HPRO units to suit the treament need as well as the physical space in your facility.
